La Redoute has a long history in the fashion world and season after season they've created exclusive collections with contributions from world-class designers like Paco Rabanne, Karl Lagerfeld, Kenzo Takada, Viktor & Rolf and Jean Paul Gaultier.
Around 50 fashion designers colaborate towards each season's new collections. For the autumn/winter 2009/10 collections, French designers Michel Klein and Alexis Mabille have created some pieces for the online shop at La Redoute.
Since 1969,La Redoute has invited each season prominent designers like Christian Lacroix, Yves Saint Laurent & Karl Lagerfeld to bring something special to that seasons collection and make haut e-couture accessible to everyone.
Michel Klein first worked for La Redoute in 1993 and the China-look inspired jacket is one of the legendary products of this seasons collaboration.
Alexis Mabille is the second star in La Redoute's design portfolio for 2009-2010. He creates his own unisex-collections, ready-to-wear, and couture for men and women.
