What the press say ...
Boden, the award winning mail order business, are renowned for offering their customers high quality women’s, men’s and children’s clothing. It has built a reputation for presenting clothes in a more quirky and lively format in both their catalogues and online. Starting in 1991 Johnnie Boden launched his first catalogue with only 8 men’s wear pieces. The range has since grown considerably, offering women’s wear from 1994 and children’s wear from 1996 and adding the web as a sales channel in 1999. They now sends out over 10 million catalogues per annum, has a team of over 400 employees and ships over 3,000 orders per day to the UK and USA. It continues to grow, with sales of £60m in 2003.

more upmarket catalogue brands such as Boden and La Redoute, aimed at different niches in society.
